The blank page is arguably one of the most terrifying parts of any creative endeavor. Whether you're an artist, a musician, a writer, or a creative of some other stripe, the prospect of beginning a new work is often more than a little daunting. You start with nothing, an empty void that will (hopefully) transform into your finished work, your latest Opus. But first you have to lay down your first bar, or brushstroke, or sentence. That first step, the springboard that will launch you on your way to turn inspiration into realization, is vitally important.
